Food & Supply Donations

Free Food signs Mobile Food BankDonate Food, Supplies & Essential Items

ICS Food Banks rely on the generosity of our community to keep shelves stocked and provide a variety of nutritious foods to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Donated items are distributed quickly to those in need. In 2025, ICS Food Banks distributed more than 2.2 million pounds of food.

Financial contributions collected through organized drives are also welcome and help us meet the community’s most urgent needs.

Donate Food to the Food Bank

ICS relies on food donations throughout the year. Donations can be delivered to either of our two locations during operating hours, and no appointment is needed.

Organize a Food or Hygiene Drive

Non-perishable food, diapers (for children and adults), and personal hygiene items are always needed to help support individuals and families in our community.

Whether you’re part of a faith community, neighborhood, business, service club, school, military unit, scout troop, sports team, or another community group, organizing a drive is a meaningful way to make a direct impact on those facing food insecurity and other challenges.

ICS offers two ways to get involved:

Host a Food or Hygiene Drive

Collect food, diapers, personal hygiene items, or monetary donations at your organization, workplace, school, or community gathering. ICS can provide flyers and signage to help promote your drive. To request signage, contact jhumphries@icstucson.org.

Host a Stuff the Truck Event

Take your drive to the next level by challenging your organization or community to fill the entire ICS Mobile Food Bank truck with donated food and supplies. Stuff the Truck events can be held year-round at a location of your choice and are a fun, engaging way to rally support for our food banks.

ICS Annual Food & Supply Drives

Rally your group, business, or organization to support one of ICS’s annual drives by organizing a collection effort.

Lotsa Pasta
February is noodle time! In collaboration with community partners, ICS sets out to collect thousands of pounds of pasta and pasta sauce in one (short) month.

Peanut Butter Party
Held every year for the entire month of July, the Peanut Butter Party brings in thousands of jars of the protein-rich spread to offset higher demand in the summer months. Community partners hold drives within their congregations and organizations to compete to collect the most jars.

9/11 National Day of Service Hygiene Drive
In September, in commemoration of the National Day of Service and Remembrance on 9/11, ICS hosts a Hygiene Drive to support those in need. Donations are greatly appreciated, and community partners are warmly invited to participate in this meaningful service initiative.

Fall Food Drive
The month of October is the time for the Fall Food Drive! This month, help us to collect non-perishable pantry staples along with holiday food items like stuffing, gravy, canned veggies, and more!
